The business was preparing for a public offering, so our experience as large-scale, long-term public investors positioned us to help navigate the IPO process and support the business post-IPO. Several members of Sands Capital helped DoorDash with public readiness, including messaging, investor introductions, meeting preparation, quarterly calls, and drafting materials.
